With major players in the rock movement behind them, including Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D. and H.R. of BAD BRAINS,ISLANDERs bold and brooding style will not be ignored. Released on October 1st, Pains. was met with positive reviews, called “edgy, destructive, and somehow smooth despite its ripping instrumental work and cracking vocals” by New Noise Magazine. Delivering that intensity live proved an easy task, as ISLANDER?s tour with label-mates CLOSE YOUR EYES garnered new fans with each performance.
